About the role :
Partner with hiring managers across SEG’s Central Functions to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing and attraction through to assessment, offer and onboarding.
Deliver recruitment across a varied portfolio of high-volume, specialist, technical and senior-level vacancies.
Develop proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, talent pools, referrals and direct approaches.
Provide hiring managers with expert advice on market conditions, candidate availability, salary benchmarking and recruitment best practice.
Create engaging and inclusive job adverts that accurately reflect the role, team and wider SEG employer proposition.
Screen and assess candidates against the requirements of each role, providing clear and evidence-based recommendations.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring, business-critical and hard-to-fill positions.
Ensure candidates receive a professional, timely and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process.
Work closely with colleagues across all Practice areas and Central Functions to support effective hiring and onboarding.
Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide insight on activity, progress, risks and performance.
Champion direct recruitment, reducing reliance on external agencies while ensuring quality and pace are maintained.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve stakeholder engagement and strengthen recruitment outcomes.
Ensure all recruitment activity is fair, inclusive, compliant and aligned with SEG policies and values.
About you :
Project & Stakeholder Management
Ability to manage multiple vacancies at once, prioritising tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Experience working cross-functionally with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
Strong accountability to drive recruitment processes forward and maintain urgency.
Recruitment & Candidate Management
Experience with hiring, interviewing, or candidate selection.
Strong understanding of candidate pipelines and end-to-end recruitment processes.
Ability to build rapport with candidates and deliver a great candidate experience.
Process & Systems Management
Comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM tools to track and manage applications.
Experience managing data entry, reporting, and maintaining process and data accuracy.
Strong attention to detail when handling candidate information and issuing assessments.
Communication & Relationship Building
Confident in leading stand-ups and holding hiring teams accountable for progress.
Able to liaise with external Rec2Rec suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and speed expectations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep candidates and hiring teams informed.
Problem-Solving & Agility
Proactive, solution-focused, and able to navigate challenges in a rapidly changing environment.
